  We urge you to keep your password secret!  If we detect repeated multiple concurrent logins, we will try to protect your account from thieves by changing your password.

Unlimited
At Foggy.net you may use as much time on line as you wish.  Please feel free to use any number of hours on the net.  When you are not using your connections, we ask that you allow other friends and neighbors to use the line.  A single session can be as long as four hours and you may reconnect for as long as you wish to use the Internet.  Also, if you leave your computer idle for over 20 minutes, the line is made available to another caller.  We suggest that you use a resume-capable ftp program.

Dedicated
Some users need a continuous connection to the Internet.  If you need to run an automated program (also called a "bot"), or if you need continuous information (such as stock quotes), Dedicated service will meet your needs.  Foggy.net will guarantee a connection for you exclusive use 24 hours a day.  You can also run a proxy server at your site with a Dedicated account, allowing more than one user at your location to access the Internet at the same time, splitting the bandwidth among users.

Static
For those that must run a server on a Dial-Up connection, this level provides a static IP address so that others on the Internet can reliably reach your computer.  This enables you to operate a Web server, but of course it is limited to the Dial-Up access bandwidth.  (If you need to run a Web server, we suggest that you consider some other options listed below.

Premium Dedicated
This level of service includes a block of 16 IP addresses within Foggy.net address space.  Allowing you a subnet address and router address, this provides static addresses for 14 physical machines.  You may do your own setup and installation, or we can do it for you at our regular technical rate of $50/hour.  Additional blocks of IP addresses are available at $50/month per additional 16 addresses.  This level of service may be useful if several machines at your location must have legitimate Internet IP addresses, but their actual bandwidth requirements are low.  If you need multiple high-bandwidth connections, one of the commercial high bandwidth connections described below will be more suitable.  For email, you may find UUCP service more satisfactory.
